OUR EXPERIENCE
Our “List of Completed Transactions” is long and the volume is high. Over the years, brokerage transactions have included the sales or leasing of light industrial and distribution properties, freestanding retail, shopping centers, office buildings, hotel sites, apartment complexes, mixed use properties, investment properties, commercial office or retail condos and land deals from one acre commercial sites to 4500 acre tracts. Other areas of expertise include assemblage of investment partnerships, 1031 exchange sales, development services, and the “workout” of distressed properties under the control of the RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation). Our leadership team has an in-depth knowledge of and experience in the development constraints of zoning and utility availabilities ranging from the industrial areas of Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties to renovation of historic properties on the Charleston Peninsula.

Through years of experience, our professional network has many arms and legs. Whether it’s our relationships with former clients, current clients, economic development groups, the regional business community, finance sector, brokerage community, developers’ circles, etc, our relationships are extensive and significant. We have strong working relationships with the majority of regional and local financial institutions including the commercial banks, savings and loan banks and insurance companies, and we have worked with the majority of architectural, engineering and construction firms in the region. Close working relationships also include economic development groups such as the Department of Commerce, Regional Development Alliance, Charleston Digital Corridor and leaders in local municipalities. As members of the National Association of Industrial and Office Park Developers and the International Council of Shopping Centers, our company maintains contact with a broad spectrum of users including local, regional and national tenants. It has also worked with the Federal Asset Disposition Associations (FADA), the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), as well as with the FDIC.
